Transportation

The most common way to reach Ayampe is by bus from Guayaquil or Manta. From Guayaquil, take a bus heading north along the Ruta del Sol (Highway E15). Several bus companies operate this route, including Cooperativa Libertad Peninsular (CLP) and Transportes Manglaralto. Ask the driver to drop you off at Ayampe. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. From Manta, the bus ride is shorter, around 2-3 hours. Once in Ayampe, everything is within walking distance.
